Stagg Group’s Annual Thanksgiving Celebration with Community Leaders

BRONX, NY (November 25, 2023) – The week of November 13, 2023, was significant and rewarding for the team here at Stagg Group as we joined forces with local community leaders to spread joy and warmth within the communities we support. We provided hot meals to local shelters and we distributed countless Thanksgiving turkeys in our decades-old annual tradition.

Stagg Group, with a rich history of philanthropy dating back to our founding, has always been dedicated to giving back to the communities we serve. This year was no exception, as we distributed nearly 15,000 hot meals to those in need. The Stagg Group team actively participated in the initiative, collaborating with social services agents to assemble and distribute meals. Recipients at five different local shelters were treated to a delicious spread, including turkey, mashed potatoes, green beans, gravy, cranberry sauce, and cornbread.

In another reprise of our decades-old tradition, Stagg Group also distributed thousands of turkeys to residents in and around Stagg Group properties. We are incredibly thankful for the partnership of local leaders on this initiative. We were joined by Vanessa L. Gibson, Bronx Borough President; Assemblyman Kenny Burgos, New York City Councilmember Rafael Salamanca, Assemblyman Jeffrey Dinowitz, New York City Councilmember Kevin Riley, Kenneth Plummer, Sabrina Powell, and other notable figures. Their dedication to community welfare has made a lasting impact on the lives of countless residents.

The generosity displayed during this year’s giving initiative was unparalleled. Our commitment to giving back resulted in the largest distribution of hot meals and turkeys to date. Over 15.000 hot meals and early 4,000 turkeys were distributed within the Bronx and Lower Westchester communities this year.

Through our dedication and collaboration with local and regional elected officials and influential leaders, we hope to continue to make a positive impact on the lives of those they and we serve. As we express our gratitude to the politicians and leaders who supported this initiative, we also celebrate the spirit of giving that unites us all during the holiday season.
