March of Dimes Breakfast

On November 13, attendees and industry leaders convened at the elegant Brae Burn Country Club in Purchase to mark the 38th annual Westchester/Fairfield Real Estate Awards Breakfast, hosted by the March of Dimes NY/NJ Market. Nearly 500 members of the real estate and construction industries gathered for a morning of celebration, networking and impact — culminating in a new fundraising record of more than $1.3 million to support the March of Dimes’ mission of improving maternal and infant health outcomes.

“On behalf of Stagg Group and my family, we are humbled to be recognized for our work in the real estate community and for our support of the March of Dimes. We also want to congratulate Susan Fox and thank all of the sponsors for their support of the important work that the March of Dimes does to improve health conditions for all mothers and infant children.”

A Morning of Impact

Emceed by Tara Rosenblum of News 12, and co-chaired by Patricia Valenti (Executive Managing Director, Newmark) and Don Bucci (Managing Director, JLL), the breakfast brought together leaders from across the real estate and construction sectors. The event program included recognition of high-impact projects, networking opportunities, and reflections on how the industry can help further the mission of the March of Dimes through collaboration and community-oriented development.

This year’s sponsors included the Kylie and Louis R. Cappelli Foundation, Stagg Group, White Plains Hospital, and many other corporate and community supporters. Their collective support enabled the new fundraising benchmark, reinforcing the shared commitment to healthier beginnings for moms and babies.

Why It Matters

The funds raised will bolster the March of Dimes’ research initiatives, programs and advocacy efforts in the region — creating stronger support systems, improved outcomes in maternal and infant health, and lasting community impact. In an era when affordable housing, access to healthcare and early-life development are more important than ever, partnerships like these are crucial.

Mark Stagg’s recognition not only celebrates his achievements in housing development, but also highlights how real estate leaders can play a vital role in shaping healthier communities.

Looking Ahead

As the Stagg Group continues to develop market-rate and affordable housing projects—adding thousands of new units to the region—its alignment with organizations like the March of Dimes demonstrates how business and philanthropy can work hand-in-hand. We look forward to seeing how this year’s record-setting support fuels further innovation and impact, and to future breakfasts where community leaders will again step up and make a difference.

Thank you to everyone who attended, sponsored, presented, and cheered on the work — especially Susan Fox and Mark Stagg, two individuals whose leadership inspires us all.
