Founded in 1996, the Stagg Group has been providing quality, affordable homes and apartments, primarily based in the Northeast section of the Bronx, New York City. Mark Stagg, founder and President, built his first home in 1998 and has never looked back. Since then, the Stagg Group has built well over 1,000 affordable units and has solid plans to expand on its success in Westchester and the boroughs of New York City.
Mr. Stagg has a deep commitment to the local community and has continued to deliver on his company’s mission statement: To provide quality, affordable housing for families in our community.
The quality and attention to detail that is built into every new Stagg building is a testimony to the company’s commitment to provide exceptional properties at affordable prices. Stagg believes that well designed and well-built housing helps revitalize and improve neighborhoods and the most recent additions to their portfolio are proof of this belief.
The Stagg Group’s latest project on 214th Street has the distinction of putting New York City over the 100,000 mark of new affordable units, well on its way to Mayor Bloomberg’s goal of creating 165,000 units by 2013.

Stagg Development
The development group designs, plans and carefully oversees the construction of all new projects from multi-family homes to apartment buildings. Affordable housing is in high demand today and the company currently has more than 100 units in development and many more in the planning stages. The company prides itself on the level of construction detail as well as its concern and local involvement in the community when building new housing.
Stagg invests in the future of the neighborhoods where they build and cares about the end product for people who need affordable housing. A beautiful building with carefully planned details, high quality, durable materials, and fine finishes that last and will stand the test of time, is the goal for each Stagg project. This philosophy adds to a better quality of affordable housing in the community and creates a stronger neighborhood of involved residents.
Stagg Construction
The construction division is one of the key reasons for the success of the Stagg Group. The construction team is known for its adherence to exacting standards and to maintaining rigorous timelines while not sacrificing quality. Controlling its own construction enables the Stagg Group to carefully monitor all aspects from the implementation of design and the quality of construction right down to the smallest finish details. Most importantly it gives the Stagg Group cost control advantages that support high building standards while delivering reasonably priced housing.
Although the company builds primarily for its own portfolio, it has built properties for other clients and will continue to offer those services for select clients that meet the Stagg standards.
Stagg Management
The Stagg Group manages over 550 units within its own growing portfolio – all built, owned and managed by the principal. The company philosophy and dedication doesn’t end with the sign off at a construction site. The attention to the detail of building maintenance and customer service is what sets Stagg Management apart from most other management companies.
